The bus station is open 24hrs a day and services a whole slew of destinations, from the capital, Mexico City, to Chetumal, on the Belize border.

Buses on Ruta 1 and Ruta 2 travel between downtown Cancún and the Hotel Zone, while those on Ruta 8 go to Puerto Juárez, where passengers can catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres.

Isla Mujeres
A ferry runs between Cancún and Isla Mujeres, departing from Playa Linda (at the embarcadero of Cancún's Hotel Zone). You can also take the ferry from Puerto Juárez or Punta Sam. On the island, the passenger ferry landing (muelle fiscal, tel.998-877-0065) is located in the town of Isla Mujeres, across from Calle Morelos. Parque Garrafón has its own ferry landing.
