By Plane
Located on the island of New Providence, Nassau International Airport (www.nassau-airport.com) is served by flights originating in many North American and European cities. The airport is located around 13km southwest of downtown Nassau.

The only airport on the island of Grand Bahama, Freeport International Airport is located some 3km north of downtown Freeport. It offers flights to Nassau and Miami, as well as other destinations.

By Boat
Nassau: Boats moor alongside the pier in Prince George, not far from Rawson Square and next to the duty-free shopping centre. From there, it is easy to explore the government buildings on foot.

Freeport-Lucaya: Boats moor in the Lucayan Harbour, on the island of Grand Bahama, west of Freeport. It is easy to get to Freeport or the International Bazaar by taxi.
