Puerto Rico enjoys one of the most pleasant and stable climates in the world. The average temperature is 26ºC, and sea breezes keep the coasts cool year-round, making the seashore very enjoyable. The lowest temperature is 18ºC and the highest is 35ºC, but it's really the humidity that gets to travellers, especially in the evening when it can reach 85%.
The dry season is from November to April and the temperature is a pleasant 24ºC on average. During the rainy season, from May to October, the temperature is higher, at around 27ºC, as is the amount of precipitation. August is the hottest and rainiest month, with an average 18cm of rain, but showers are generally short and a good way to cool off! In the mountains, the temperature is 10ºC lower than on the coasts, all year round. Hurricane season lasts from June until October. Finally, the hours of daylight are pretty much the same every day and all year round.
