The average temperature in St. Barts and St. Martin is 26ºC. The heat is never stifling as regular breezes and trade winds come from the east and northeast. There are, however, still two seasons; the dry season, from November to April, and the rainy season, from May to October. The dry season is the more pleasant of the two because the heat is less intense, there is less rain, and the humidity is lower. The average temperature during this season is 24ºC during the day, and 19ºC at night. Travelling during the rainy season is also possible because even though rain showers are heavy, they do not last long. There is more rain from August to October. This is also hurricane season. During the rainy season, expect the temperature to hover around 27ºC during the day and 22ºC at night. The average hours of sunshine remain constant throughout the year.
